We've had a very busy week in school this week thinking about Anti-Bullying with the theme of 'All Different. All Equal'. Have a look at our posters we've designed to raise awareness of bullying in schools.
Year 6 have been working really hard this half term to excel with their reading, we already have two reading champions- Josh has got 8 100%'s in a row and Calum is hot on his tail with 7. Keep up the great reading boys!
Year 6 had a fantastic weekend at Derwent Hill with Mrs Sexton and Mr Holt. We spent the weekend challenging ourselves in lots of different ways and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones. We were split into two groups one with Nigel and one with Cam and we were given a lot of choice for the activities our groups wanted to do. We had an action packed weekend filled with walks, sailing, canoeing, gorge walking, the big swing, the high ropes, rock climbing and den building- and the weather was pretty good too!
Over the last term Year 6 have been helping Y1 and Y2 at lunchtime as part of our Buddy system in school. They are encouraging the younger children to play together and include everyone in games and activities. We've been having great fun!
